David Gill Gallery returns to Salon Art + Design New York with a presentation that celebrates both tradition and the avant-garde, with a selection of works from the gallery’s key artists including Garouste & Bonetti, Mattia Bonetti, Zaha Hadid, Fredrikson Stallard, Barnaby Barford, Chris Schanck, Sebastian Errazuriz, Valentin Loellmann, Sebastian Brajkovic, Barbara Nanning and Marcantonio Brandolini d’Adda.

The works on show explore narratives that range from ornament and restraint to organic and engineered. Patinated and polished metals, lustrous glass, charred oak and walnut, velvet and layered mirror create a choreography of surfaces that offer a dialogue between reflection and opacity and mass and lightness, but all set within a highly muted monochromatic colour palette with a dramatic single splash of colour.
